Description

Portable rod extrusion welder. The "Metabo" drill motor controls the automatic 3-4mm PE or PP rod feed. It also controls the actual extrusion through the extrusion chamber which is heated by a Leister Diode hot air manifold also simultaneously pre-heating the actual weld area.
The PTFE tip presses the continuous flow of extruded material onto the welding surface.
Temperature control is achieved by means of a Rueger thermometer mounted next to the extrusion chamber.
To operate the extrusion welder, besides a connection to a power source, a compressed air line hook up is required or, as an option, to a model UJ75 blower.
